ADGENDA FOR MEETING JANUARY 25TH

If you are an adoptive parent.....

Is your child a fussy eater?
Does (s)he struggle with independence in everyday tasks like getting dressed?
Do you notice some problems with attention and concentration or worry about their handwriting or co-ordination skills?
Are you happy with their coping skills in the classroom?

If any of these questions strike a chord with you ..... have you ever seen or heard form an occupational therapist? Or has anyone spoken to you about sensory integration and how we can work with our children to help them in these situations?

If you are a pre-adoptive parent....

Would you like to know what to look for when it comes to your future child's development?

If so, our January meeting may be of interest to you.

Our monthly meeting takes place on Wednesday next 25th January 2012 and this month Jennifer Dennehy, Occupational Therapist with the Stepping Ahead Clinic in Cork will introduce us to occupational therapy, sensory integration, the common needs in adoptive children and what can be done to help.

We will start our meeting at 8.00 p.m. with Country Updates and then we will hear from Jennifer.

This meeting will be held at Moran's Silversprings Hotel -
in the Convention Centre.

NOTE WE WILL BE IN THE TARA SUITE ON THE FIRST FLOOR

€5 per person attending, this meeting is open to Members and non Members.
